How to Re-Set a Lost Password
- When Logged Out, go to nsyc.net.
- At the upper right of the screen, click “Log In”.
- At bottom of “username and password” screen, click “Lost your password?”
- Enter your User Name or Email Address. Click “Get Password”.
- You will see the message: “Check your email for the confirmation link, then visit the login page.” Ignore this and check your email inbox for an email from “North Shore Yacht Club”, entitled “Password Reset”.
- Open the email, and click on the link below the message that says: “To reset your password, visit the following address”.
- Set your new password (this is best done on a computer or tablet, not a cellphone):
- >>>If you want to keep the randomly generated password, copy and save it to a safe place, then click “Save password”. At the bottom of the screen, click “Log In”.
- >>>If you want to specify your own password (recommended… easier to remember!), then click in the box that says “New Password” (to select the randomly generated password), and use your keyboard’s ‘delete’/’space’/‘back’ keys to wipe it out. Then type in your own new password (follow the requirements listed.) Click “Save Password”, and at the bottom of the screen, click “Log In”.
- You are now ready to Log In at nsyc.net, with your User Name and new Password.
